ABOUT ME
I'm a banjo & mandolin player and singer, originally from Dublin, now living in Alaska. I have been bringing Irish Artists to Alaska since 1986, I also helped start the Alaska Irish Music Festival and was president and artistic director till December 2002 Although it certainly wasn't one of the biggest festivals in the U.S. we had some great guest Artists over the years. A few more details about me here at the new Last Night's Fun page.
Besides playing in Alaska with Last Night's Fun (link on the left) and others, I also play "outside" (the lower 48) with various musicians from all over, the photo above was taken while playing with Mike Beglan and Cary Novotny at McGurk's Link opens in new window.
Recently I had the opportunity to play in Haines with Len Feldman on concertina, pictured above. My thanks to the staff at the Haines Public Library for the photo's and the great time.
I will not be on the staff of "Irish Week" at Davis & Elkins College in West Virginia in this year 2007, but it's well worth checking out.
